10 days, 9 nights in Tallinn, Riga, Vilnius

Program of the tour.

Day 1. Arrival in Tallinn, the capital of Estonia. Transfer from the airport to the hotel. Accommodation in Meriton Conference & Spa Hotel 4 **** in DBL rooms, HB. Check-in. Free time at leisure.

An elegant and modern Meriton Conference & Spa Hotel situates at the very heart of the capital, close to the Old Town and the Parliament. Hotel offers easy access to the main shopping areas, theatres and the wide range of restaurants.

The hotel has 301 modern and tastefully decorated guestrooms, including 280 standard rooms, 12 family rooms and 9 suits. All rooms are for non-smokers.

Day 2. Breakfast in the hotel. A sightseeing tour of Tallinn. Tallinn is a charming blend of medieval tranquility and modern urban life. The medieval Old Town is a busy place in the summer with its many shops, galleries, souvenir markets, outdoor cafes and restaurants. The sightseeing tour takes us around the old medieval city walls and into the Old Town where we see Toompea Castle, the Dome Church, Alexander Nevsky Cathedral and the medieval Old Town Hall. In the afternoon there is an excursion to Kadriorg Park with a visit to the Kadriorg Palace and its art collections. The evening offers a medieval dinner at Restaurant Peppersack.

Day 3. Breakfast in the hotel. A tour to Rocca-al-Mare museum – exposition of Estonian peasant architecture. The Estonian Open Air Museum, which is located close to the city in Rocca al Mare, is one of the few open air museums in Europe, and even the world, that is open year round, with almost no days off. The handicraft shop near the museum's main gate and the Kolu kõrts that serves Estonian national food are also open every day. During the summer period, 11 farm complexes with 72 buildings are open to visitors, in addition to single buildings that have played an important role in Estonian village life such as an inn, school, chapel, fire shed and windmills. There are approximately 60,000 objects in the museum's collections and over 100,000 people visit the museum every year. Evening at leisure. Dinner in the hotel. Overnight.

Day 4. An excursion to Lahemaa National Park. Lahemaa National Park (established 1971) is located on Northern Estonia, 70 kilometers east from capital Tallinn. Its area covers 725 km² (including 250.9 km² of sea). It was the first national park in the Soviet Union. The national park is one of the main tourism drawcards in Estonia. Evening at leisure. Dinner in the hotel. Overnight.

Day 5. Breakfast in the hotel. Bus transfer Tallinn-Riga. Check-in in Maritim Park Hotel Riga. Day 6. Breakfast in the hotel. A sightseeing tour of Riga.

Riga, founded in 1201 by the German bishop Albert, is the largest of the three Baltic capitals and boasts a real kaleidoscope of architectural styles. The walking tour of the Old Town includes Riga Castle, the Dome Cathedral, St. Peter's Church, the Swedish Gate, the Three Brothers, the Large and Small Guilds and the Freedom Monument.

In the afternoon – dinner with the folk show in the medieval restaurant Rozengrals. The restaurant ROZENGRALS is located in the centre of Old Riga on the Rozena Street . These premises were mentioned in the scripts in 1293 as the most ancient wine-vault and festival place of the Riga City Council!

Day 7. A tour to the Gauja National Park and the town of Sigulda. We listen to the medieval Latvian legend of the Rose of Turaida, and see Maja's Tombstone, the ruins of the Episcopal Castle, the ruins of the Castle of the Knights of the Sword and the mysterious Gutman Cave before we return to Riga . Dinner at the hotel.

Day 8. Breakfast at the hotel. Bus transfer Riga – Vilnius. Check-in in Europa Hotel Vilnius. Centrally located Europa City hotel offers 128 modern and cosy rooms with conveniences for those arriving to Vilnius on business and for those coming to spend their leisure time. In few minutes you will reach the Old Town of Vilnius and the main street named Gediminas avenue, where the largest shops, restaurants, bars, casinos and night clubs are situated. Europa City is modern three star   hotel in Vilnius with wide range conference facilities available.

Day 9. A sightseeing tour of Vilnius.

Vilnius is known for more than 1,200 medieval buildings and 48 churches. The sightseeing tour includes a panoramic tour of the city and a walking tour of the Old Town with Vilnius Cathedral, Gediminas Tower, Peter and Paul Church, St. Anne's Church, Old University and the Gates of Dawn.

The afternoon offers an excursion to Trakai, the medieval capital of Lithuania, with the well presented Trakai Castl, beautifully located on an island in Lake Galve. In the evening – dinner in the restaurant Kybynlar featuring Karaimu cuisine (Karaites – Lithuanian Turks, followers of Judaism) and the folk show.

Day 10. Breakfast in the hotel. Transfer to the airport, for the flight home.
