2-16 EVENTS OF THE 100TH ANNIVERSARY OF THE ESTONIAN NATIONAL OPERA
The anniversary period
from September 2-16 will host various concerts, book and album presentations
and exhibition openings. In cooperation with Estonian Post, the National
Opera's anniversary stamp will be issued.

13th INTERNATIONAL FESTIVAL OF SACRED MUSIC “Credo”
An Orthodox ecclesiastical
music festival dedicated to the birthday of the Virgin Mary. Both old
and modern music will be played in various churches.

9-12 ST. MARTIN'S DAY FAIR
National handicraft
workshops and sales accompanied by traditional food, folk music and
Martinmas costumes. As part of the promotion of the traditional country
lifestyle, this year's main theme will be "the lace".

23 – December 10 10th TALLINN BLACK NIGHTS FILM FESTIVAL
Tallinn's largest
film festival presents a comprehensive selection of world cinema in
all its diversity, with an emphasis on European films. It encompasses
a main feature film festival, with sub-festivals for animated films,
student films and children's/youth films.

19 – December 24 CHRISTMAS MARKET in Old Town
This charming market
reflects a medieval atmosphere and breathes new life into old traditions.
Visitors will discover Estonian products and taste traditional food
and drink.

CHRISTMAS JAZZ
Estonian and international
musicians perform jazz in venues across town, including churches, clubs
and theatres. Jazzkaar organizes concerts and events throughout the
