tavern is an eating place with historical interior, which menu includes
foods from the cuisines of different countries. On weekdays we also
offer dishes of the day in addition to the main menu. For your enjoyment
and for dance we offer live music in weekends. We have a special private
hall – sakste kamber (“gentry chamber”), suitable
for 10 people, for organising business dinners and metings.
LE CHATEAU
In Le Chateau you travel in time straight to the 17th century France
. Louise XIV and his Royal kitchen has just introdused a new style of
cooking and displaying dishes. The best chefs from around the country
prepares intresting new dishes from local and imported food stuff. The
feasts of the Sun King and the new cuisine in Versailles will soon also
be presented in other good restaurants and trakteers. The new trend
was called the Heute Cuisine and it is the base of the traditional kitchen
even today.

The food in Olde Hansa is not called medieval just by name or for fun.
Masters who found these dishes and tried them have learned to think
and feel in the way medieval cooks did. They know how the changing of
seasons, lent, famine and laws influenced the choice of food on the
table of a rich merchant in Tallinn. Game, fish, birds, all kind of
fruits and sauces in the house of a rich merchant make up a real experience
and all that is seasoned with most expensive spices.
