This full-day tour leads to the east of Latvia - region of Latgale, also called the Land of Blue Lakes. Here the guests will familiarize themselves with local traditions of craft, culture and with the historical heritage. In the town of Livani the guests will have a great possibility to visit Latgale Arts and Crafts Centre, and Livani Glass Museum. Further the road will lead to the second largest city of Latvia - Daugavpils. Here the guests will visit the Daugavpils Fortress that is a unique fortress in the East of Europe. The guests will enjoy an exciting tour by tram that will lead to the exhibition hall of the world famous artist Mark Rotko where it will be possible to look at his artworks from different periods. The tour will be concluded by a visit to a gorgeous orthodox cathedral and acquiring knowledge of Slavic traditions at the Russian House.
This tour will discover the unique town on the coast of the Baltic Sea – Liepaja. During the guided tour the guests will see and hear the largest mechanical organs in the world that are not rebuilt and will have a possibility explore the weaving in the loom (frame) as well as to inspect the most attractive accommodations in Liepaja. In the afternoon the guests will have an opportunity to take a part in the interactive reality show and to live the part of a prisoner and learn the most interesting and shocking facts from the history of the Naval Port and its prison.
