Gravity club
While originally striving to be trendy, exclusive and selective, management
soon realised you cannot run a club without attracting paying customers...
and paying customers are sometimes out of touch with trends. This means
that Gravity is now a motley array of hip kids hypnotising hippie-era
folk with the dazzling manipulation and manoeuvring of their... say it
with us people, hips. In terms of club life, this ex-bomb shelter is top
shelf. Speaking of which, mind the bartenders, as they are typically frugal
(read: incompetent) when it comes to making change.
Helios Club
The club lives up to every Baltic stereotype out there and remains completely
complacent in doing so. When you think music, think Techno. When you picture
women, envision bleached-to-acid-washed blondes that are tall, sexy and
oh so dangerous. When you consider the men, remember the man purse, black
leather, an entourage and again danger. How might you fit in? Foreigners,
especially men, like to prove their worth by flaunting it here.
Mambo Club
Still one of our favourites in design as the club is dug into the ground
and onlookers can gawk down on the dancing masses. Hopefully the management
will spin-off (or continue) the successful summer g-string competition
as it finally gave everyone a reason to get out and enjoy this place.
They have also made an effort at importing famous foreign deejays, so
keep your eyes peeled for who might arrive next.
