Exciting experience: Treasure Hunt
Visit some of the most interesting and beautiful sights in Moscow whilst taking part in this competitive Treasure Hunt. The party will be divided into smaller groups each with their own guide. Each group will be given a map and directions. Movement will be by subway and walking, and at each location, the clients get a clue to the next destination.
Life of the tsars from inside: Exclusive visit to the Grand Kremlin Palace
The palace was originally built to be the royal palace in Moscow, for Nicholas I, and is now used by the government; it is not open to the general public. All top-level talks and award ceremonies are held there. Rooms that can be seen by special arrangement include the private rooms of the royal family (among them - the halls of 17th century palace adjacent to the Grand Palace and the famous 15th century Hall of Facets), ceremonial rooms that one can often see on TV, the Hall of St Catherine (the empress's throne room), St. George Hall, St. Vladimir Hall.
The wealth of Moscow tsars: Exclusive visit to the Armoury Chamber
The Armoury has a fantastic collection of insignia of Imperial power, precious clothes, ceremonial harness and unique collection of imperial carriages. The 17th century throne of Alexey Romanov covered with a mosaic of turquoises and 900 diamonds, a pheloneon of Metropolitan Platon decorated with 150,000 pearls (it took the embroiderer 2 years to work on the pattern!), the famous Faberge eggs - one can't help admiring the priceless and luxurious items. The museum is usually full, so the guests will have a wonderful opportunity to enjoy a private excursion after the Kremlin is closed for general public. After 1-hour excursion a special performance of church choir is organized for the guests in one of the Armoury halls.
Flight to stars: Cosmonaut Centre
A visit to the State Yuri Gagarin Cosmonaut training Center is a unique possibility for special groups and incentives. The center is situated about 1 hour's drive from Moscow in the totally self-contained "Space City", and it is where cosmonauts from Russian and all over the world are trained for manned space flights. For day visitors, it is possible to have a tour of the whole center, which will include several unique pieces of equipment, and life-size models of the Russian spacecraft. There is the centrifuge machine in which astronauts experience the full affects of centrifugal force; clients can try this but only after a 4-hour medical test, and only a few clients per day. The water tank is a huge tank into which astronauts are lowered, in special $600,000 suits, and in which the affects of space are simulated. There are real, life-sized models of the spaceships Mir and Soyuz which visitors can look round (they are surprisingly small); a tour of these will be preceded by a detailed explanation from one of the center's experts. An interesting talk with one of the famous Russian cosmonauts is organized for the guests.
Old rituals and customs: Wedding ceremony in Kolomenskoye
To have a rest from the city's buzz, we offer you a tour to Kolomenskoye. This is a beautiful royal country estate in outer Moscow on the bend of the river; accessible by boat in the summer, it makes for a pleasant half-day excursion. You'll enjoy a walk in century-old oak-trees grove, visit small but interesting museums containing Russian wood-carving and tiles, picturesque 17th century Kazan church, see the stunning Church of Ascension, built by Tzar Vasily III to celebrate the birth of his long-awaited son - future Ivan the Terrible, Peter the Great's wooden cabin, where one can compare his height and a hand's size with those of the emperor with the help of special notches inside the cabin, made once by Peter. The folk group meets the guests at the entrance. The half day program includes a territory and museum tour, followed by Russian folk ceremony - a Russian folk wedding - introduced by guides dressed in old Russian costumes. The guests get dressed in Russian costumes as well and participate in the ceremony. Afterwards, the guests are treated to tea and pancakes enjoying the folk performance. In winter time troika ride and a shot of vodka served out doors will be a perfect final touch of the tour.
Chase and trophy: Tsar's Hunt with Russian borzoi
A special day either in winter or summer is selected to participate in traditional Russian hunting with Russian borzoi. The hunting goes on in 60 km from Moscow in one of the picturesque places of Moscow region. The bus changes to carriages/sledges. The guests are served with champagne/vodka and a light snack on the bivouac. After short instruction those who can ride takes horses. Those who have know riding experience participate in the action by carriages/sledges. The aim of the hunting is not the capture of a game but taking part in the action. The hunting lasts about 2 hours. During the breaks the tourists are shown the different methods of hunting with Russian borzoi. The day finishes with traditional Russian meal at a hunting house.
Experience for the bravest: Tank Museum / Tank Driving
Drive out of the city (1 hour) to Kubinka tank museum. This is the world's biggest collection of combat tanks, armoured personnel carriers, self-propelled guns and other armoured vehicles, more than 300 pieces from 12 countries. The museum is located on the territory of an operating tank regiment. The guests will follow the armoured vehicles development from the very first tanks dating back to the beginning of the century to the latest modern high-tech models and unique experimental tanks. Take a guided tour of the museum with Russian Army Officers. Follow this by driving a tank on the adjacent ranges under the supervision of the Instructors. (We have arranged this for groups of men and women). After the course have a snack lunch (a la soldier meal) in a special military tent with a real Field kitchen.
Secrets and spies: Visit to the KGB Museum
This is a fun excursion for lovers of spy thrillers, rather than for anyone hoping to get an insight into the real secrets of the KGB - and interesting for the very fact that the KGB will actually allow visitors to look round! Are display on several documents and photographs from the more famous cases, regarding foreign spies, different types of bugs and weapons. After the tour of the museum, guests might have a glass of champagne there!
Fairy artisitic world: Backstage Tour at the Bolshoi Theatre
An exclusive tour of the backstage, usually unseen areas of the world famous Bolshoi Theatre. The magnificent theatre with its eight-columned portico surmounted by a statue of Apollo was built in the mid 18th century to replace the original Bolshoi Theatre which burnt down in 1853. The interior is quite stunning, with a 6-tiered auditorium decorated in reds and golds. Many groups like to combine this tour with performance at the theatre, followed by late dinner.
